Justin Cochrane, head of player development for the Academy, told the official Manchester United website: "There's a new manager coming in. I'm sure he will be playing a style of football that’s required at this football club and he comes also with a background of developing youth players.
"So for these young players who are going to play at Old Trafford, it's a great opportunity for them to play well and stake a claim in the exciting times ahead for the young players in the first team."
Roma interested in making a move for Wan-Bissaka
According to The Sun, Jose Mourinho rates Aaron Wan-Bissaka highly and would like to sign him for AS Roma in the summer transfer window.
Aside from the Serie A side, Atletico Madrid are also reportedly interested in the right-back following the departure of Kieran Trippier.
Valencia set for Old Trafford return
Antonio Valencia has confirmed his involvement in the Man United vs Liverpool Legends exhibition clash at Old Trafford on Saturday, May 21.
The former skipper wrote on Twitter: "Returning to Old Trafford is an honor for me and it will be a pleasure to be able to share with legends of Man United as well as being able to help the Man United Foundation."
Hasenhuttl dismisses Ward-Prowse rumours
Ralph Hasenhuttl has stated that midfielder James Ward-Prowse will not be leaving Southampton this summer amid links with a move to Man United.
