Man United are expected to have a very busy summer transfer window as they look to strengthen Erik ten Hag’s squad for his first season.

There will be incomings, but also a lot of outgoings as Ten Hag creates the ideal squad for him to manage.

With that being said, here is the round-up of United’s recent transfer rumours.

INS

Frenkie de Jong. Ten Hag wants to make Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong his first signing at Old Trafford. As per reliable Barca reporter Gerard Romero, there is a 95% chance of this deal happening soon. But Frenkie still has to be convinced to join United by Ten Hag, doing which can help accelerate this possible transfer.

N’Golo Kante. Erik is also looking to bring N’Golo Kante to Old Trafford, claims the Mirror. He feels like N’Golo would be a great role model for the youngsters at United and wants to make a move to sign him from Chelsea in the summer.

Darwin Nunez. United are one of the three contenders to sign Benfica striker Darwin Nunez, who has scored 31 goals this season. Nunez is reportedly keen on a Premier League move, but the Red Devils have to shell out over €70m to sign him.

Borna Sosa. Ten Hag reportedly wants to sign a new left-back in the summer and has targeted a move for Croatia international Borna Sosa, as per German outlet Focus. The Croatian has been compared to David Beckham because of his impressive crossing ability and can be signed for £26m.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. As per Calciomercato, Man United could be willing to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer. The Serbian reportedly dreams of a move to Old Trafford and can be available for €70m.

Matthijs De Ligt. The Red Devils could be one of the clubs interesting in activating the release clause of Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt, as per De Telegraaf. The release clause is rumoured to be approximately €120m.

Victor Osimhen. Man United have contacted Napoli over the possibility of signing striker Victor Osimhen in the summer, claims Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport. The Red Devils are reportedly one of the major contenders to sign him.

OUTS

Paul Pogba. Paul doesn’t want to sign a contract extension with Man United and will leave once his contract expires next month. Juventus are favorites to sign him and his agents are set to speak to them over a potential move soon.

Jesse Lingard. Like Pogba, Jesse Lingard has also decided to move on from Old Trafford in the summer. He is attracting interest from Italian clubs and is likely to join either AC Milan or Juventus on a free deal.

Juan Mata. Juan Mata is also set to leave United once his contract expires next month. The Spaniard is headed back home, with Real Sociedad leading the race to sign him next season.

Anthony Martial. The Red Devils are so eager to let go of Martial that they are willing to pay him £12m to leave in the summer, claims the Sun.

Edinson Cavani. Cavani has also decided to end his United career after the season is over, as he’ll leave the club after his contract expires in the summer and is seeking a move to La Liga.

Eric Bailly. Eric has told his teammates that he wants to leave Old Trafford in the summer, claims Manchester Evening News. He is likely to be given his exit as long as a solid offer comes up.

Nemanja Matic. Nemanja Matic has already confirmed that this season will be his last at United, as he wants to move on from the club. Jose Mourinho is reportedly seeking a reunion with him at AS Roma.

Phil Jones. Like Bailly, Phil Jones has also personally told some teammates that he wants to leave United in the summer, as per MEN. The centre-back hasn’t been linked to any clubs yet, but is unlikely to be in Ten Hag’s plans for next season.
