'I had choices to work at club with better foundation': Ten Hag explains why he rejected multiple offers for United role

Erik ten Hag has confirmed he rejected offers from other clubs to take up the Man United manager role. He told De Telegraaf: “I had choices to work at a different club, with a better foundation.

“But I chose Man United. Things have to get addressed there and that’s a challenge. The club and I are on the same wavelength about how I want to do this.”

Ten Hag is clearly intent on getting the Red Devils back to the top of the Premier League and getting them to winning major trophies in the near future.

Erik has already started his work at United and terminated his Ajax contract six weeks early, as he wishes to sort out his squad and pre-season plans as soon as possible.
