James Garner plays key role as Nottingham Forest return to Premier League for the first time since 1999

One of the most historic clubs in English football, Nottingham Forest have returned to the Premier League.

They've defeated Huddersfield in the Championship play-off 1-0 thanks to Levi Colwill's own goal in the first half.

And that goal was assisted by Man United's loanee James Garner who has been excellent for Forest through the season.

It means that Steve Cooper's side will play in the Premier League for the first time in 23 years.

They join Fulham and Bournemouth who secured two automatic promotion spots after the regular season.

As for Garner, he is already generating a lot of interest from the Premier League clubs. Hopefully, he'll get a look from Erik ten Hag during the pre-season.
