Frenkie de Jong laughs when asked quirky question on United move - gives very short answer

Frenkie de Jong found it very amusing when a reporter asked him about a possible Man United move in a very unique fashion.

After Netherlands’ 2-2 draw against Poland on Saturday, the Dutchman was asked whether is going to move from the ‘Beaches of Catalonia’ to the ‘Cold of Manchester’.

De Jong just laughed as he found that question hilarious, before replying: ‘I can’t, I can’t say anything!’

United are pursuing a move for the Barcelona midfielder but are yet to agree on a fee with the Spanish club.

Erik ten Hag wants the deal done as soon as possible, or else is even ready to switch targets if De Jong isn’t signed by the end of next week.
