A week into the summer transfer window, Manchester United are yet to sign a player, although they are actively working on getting Frenkie de Jong and maybe someone else. Good for them!
On the other hand, most of United's big-six rivals have already announced a big transfer in the past few days.

Man City

Man City have competed arguably the biggest deal of the summer, securing Haaland's signing.
They appear to be shopping the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling looking to use the funds generated from those sales for further purchases.
Liverpool

According to The Times, Liverpool are already ending their transfer campaign as they are set to sign Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay.

Chelsea

Chelsea are the only other side in the top six who are struggling to bring in new players.
Still, they are reportedly advanced in talks with Sevilla over Jules Kounde, while Ousmane Dembele could arrive as a free agent.

Arsenal are yet to announce the deal for Vieira, but it has already been confirmed by Porto.
