Man United CEO Richard Arnold was questioned about the damning leaks that came out of the club last year by fans during a meeting on Saturday.
He confirmed that: “the two sources of the leaks have now left the club,” and the club are trying to ensure that doesn’t happen anymore.
While Arnold doesn’t name-check anyone, it’s clear that he’s indicating the leaks came from the players who were released after the end of last season.
The likes of Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, and Lee Grant were the ones released – so it seems two of them were the sources behind the leaks.
Erik ten Hag will be working hard to ensure such leaks don’t happen during his stint and he can maintain a more disciplined dressing room next season.
