Manchester United could be set for a goalkeeper merry-go-round in the next few weeks, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils are open to signing another shot-stopper to offset the departure of Dean Henderson which appears to be inevitable at the moment.

Man United could install 36-year-old Tom Heaton as David De Gea's substitute, although that would depend on 'the calibre of goalkeeper the club are able to recruit'.

Henderson is believed to be on the verge of joining newly-promoted Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan (without an option to buy) after spending the 2021/22 campaign as De Gea's back-up.
