Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Man United target Christopher Nkunku has signed a new deal to stay at RB Leipzig.
Romano tweeted: "Official and confirmed. Christopher Nkunku extends his contract with RB Leipzig until June 2026, deal now signed and sealed."
"There’s a release clause included in the new deal for €60m. Christopher Nkunku’s release clause with RB Leipzig will be valid starting from summer 2023.
"Also, it could reach higher figures - as happened with other Leipzig clauses in the past. For sure, many top clubs are already well informed on Nkunku’s situation."
Nkunku has had a tremendous season at the German club as the attacker racked up 35 goals and 19 assists in all competitions.
Do you think United should trigger his release clause next summer?
