Aaron Wan-Bissaka failed to make a positive impression on Erik ten Hag in Man United’s pre-season tour.
He was used as a substitute in three of the four games, but could not really catch the eye as someone like Eric Bailly did.
Wan-Bissaka wasn’t as proactive or efficient as Diogo Dalot and this doesn’t help his chances of staying at Old Trafford this season.
Some United fans are annoyed with his performances in pre-season and want him offloaded, as they reacted on Redcafe.
Kag: “Granted, he’s not starting alongside the other first-team players, but these cameos are dreadful. He’s playing his way out of the club and a move would suit all parties.”
HackMan2210: “Out on loan with option to buy? Can’t see us selling him to anyone for a reasonable price at the moment. Season on loan and playing may get him back in the £25m bracket. Today's price would be £15-20m maybe.”
AltiUn: “I genuinely thought he was really good in the first season he joined, he's been pretty diabolical ever since. I know some people defend him about him not being bad with the ball but I couldn't disagree more, I think he's laughably bad with it at his feet and looks like he's in a constant struggle with an invisible force trying to pull the ball away from him.”
Gandalf: “How on earth does he manage to keep regressing? A couple more seasons and he will be a worse RB than me and I am a 51-year old Goalie.”
Abraxas: “As bad a preseason performance as it is possible to imagine. Gave it away every time he got it. I know it's a bad pitch but come on. Then strolled back into position. The right-back situation looks a problem.”
