 and Watford are prepared to complete the agreement for Ethan Laird on loan. Deal to be finalised this week. 

"Ten Hag, happy with his potential and attitude but Laird needs to play - Watford are intentioned to proceed with loan deal."

Laird has spent the last 2 seasons on loan at 3 different clubs. He spent 2020/21 at MK Dons, after which he spent half a season at Swansea before moving Bournemouth for the second part of the season.

Relax dude. He has potential, yess. But the boy needs regular playing time. By playing for mid or loewer table teams, he will get valuable experience. I agree that he can be better than AWB and Dalot, but for now the two have more experience in top flights.

Yes I don't expect him to be loaned out at all. At 20 years he needs more game time but on that yesterday's performance is Dalot more deserving of a spot than him? Big No. What's in experience if a player cannot use it well. City has just introduced a young left back and Palmer both under 20. Ethan must not play always but there are opponents he can do much better than Dalot. 
We hope his loan will not go wrong like Tuanzebe's case. That was a boy who pocketed Neymar in a match yet instead of giving more game time with good rotation he was sent out on loan deals which "killed" the boy's talent and future. 
Ethan is ready and should be retained.
