I don't wanna put it down to not being dutch but to naivety. 
I think this is the first time TH is taking control of transfer matters as VDS and Overmars have been deeply involved in them and he reaps the benefits. He is probably overwhelmed and learning hard.

TH knew about Gakpo from their time in Eredivise and even scored against Ajax in Cup final.
Also knew of Antony under his guide at Ajax. He was appointed in May!! We have had need for striker whether Ronnie stays or not!
So why are we in this panic situation again?

He will come because he already wants to and because that may be his biggest chance to sign for a big team like Manchester United. Yes Manchester United may not be attractive to good and quality players like old days but there's so many young upcoming good and talented footballer who still dream of playing for this once great club but only our shit scouts doesn't get to know them and only chasing already made players who only seek big pay check every week and not ready to uphold the badge and make us great again

Anyone else expecting a massive price tag ? They'll faff, and United will either pay 100 million. Or get another duffer, or no one at all. I still expect a mid table finish, unfortunately

Honestly I don't mind waiting for him to finish the work with pvs and qualified them to the champions league then I will make a deal now that if he qualifies them then he immediately becomes a Manchester United player such deal is good as he's still young and can join up with the team before transfer ends and by then their qualification will de define before 31st August so its a win win

Every club is given one reason or the other not to allow their players come to Manchester United. It is an opportunity for the players on ground to prove them wrong that they are up and doing. The unseriousness of our present players are making outside players to look down on Manchester united. Because if they are serious, I see no reason why we should be begging players to play for us.
