'I’m buying Manchester United ur welcome': Elon Musk jokes about buying the club from Glazers

Tesla CEO Elon Musk often has the internet divided on his opinions and latest ventures. This time, he appears to have confused a lot of people with his comment on Manchester United while discussing politics.

It all began when Musk tweeted: "To be clear, I support the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party!"

He then added: "Also, I’m buying Manchester United ur welcome."

After receiving plenty of replies from fans, Musk quickly clarified: "No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I’m not buying any sports teams."
