Some Manchester United scouts questioned Erik ten Hag's desire to pursue Lisandro Martinez from Ajax this summer, according to The Athletic.
The scouts were concerned that the 24-year-old centre-back might struggle with set-pieces and the overall physicality of the Premier League.
