"I don’t get the Phil Jones hate," explained Manchester United fan UtdWesleyy on Twitter.
"Should he still be at United? No. Is it his fault he was given a stupid contract? No.
"When he’s played he gives everything. He’s never moaned, he’s just got on with it.
"It’s really strange that people continue to attack him for not being sold."
The fan also added: "There’s only two ways that any hate should be directed towards regarding Phil Jones and that’s the ownership and the CEO at the time making the decisions."
Jones along with four other players have been using the U21s changing room at Carrington to make room for Erik ten Hag's six new signings.
The decision has led to mixed reactions with some slamming Jones for escaping yet another transfer window. However, there are a few fans who reckon there is no need to hate the centre-back for the club's poor decision.
