'The b****** doesn't let you breathe': Dani Alves reveals what it’s like to play against Ronaldo

When asked about who was the toughest opposition player he played against in his career, Dani Alves said: “Cristiano Ronaldo.

“This b****** doesn't let you breathe for a second. I didn't do too badly, but it's difficult. He's a scoring machine.”

Alves went up against Ronaldo on a number of occasions during their time at Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, with the Portuguese forward getting the better of him quite often.

With over 800 career goals, Ronaldo is a bonified goal machine who added another strike to his tally by scoring his first goal of the season for Man United in the 2-0 win over FC Sheriff.
