The Danish midfielder ran the show in midfield and bamboozled the opposition players with his defence-splitting passes. He created 6 goal-scoring chances, made over 100 successful passes and got the assist for Dalot’s goal with a brilliant set-up. United’s x-factor on the day.

Despite having featured in every game this season, Dalot still looked energetic and hungry in this game. He constantly made forward runs in the game and contributed defensively with his timely challenges. Broke the deadlock with a great header to score his first of the season.

In his first start under Ten Hag, Garnacho proved why he should be playing more often. He was an electric figure on the left, making some great daritng runs into the box and tormenting the defenders. Created some nice chances and brought something new with his incisiveness in the final third – as his performance makes him look like a solid alternative to Sancho.

The Dutch full-back had lots of fun on both the wings for United and was a constant thorn with his incisive movement. His crossing was great, helping him create some big chances and he also progressed the ball forward well.

The Englishman came on at half-time and helped open up the rigid Sheriff backline. He operated through the middle and linked up really well with teammates. Rashford got his goal with a great header to double United’s lead and looked quite sharp all through the second half.

A really eventful evening for Ronaldo in his first game back after the ‘punishment’. He was quite involved all through the game, dropping back and showing more eagerness to link-up in the attacks. He missed a few big chances in poor fashion, but redeemed himself by scoring late on to get another goal in the Europa League.

The Brazilian winger had another frustrating outing in which he lacked that special edge in him. Had a shot saved by the keeper, but failed to create much as his crosses were all underwhelming. Did his Antourney late in the first half, only to give the ball away seconds later and taken off at half-time.
