Prior to the World Cup in Qatar, captains of several countries united to state they will wear the One Love armbands to promote inclusivity and the LGBTQ+ community.
Among them were Harry Kane, Gareth Bale and even Christian Eriksen.
However, the Football Associations of England, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and Wales have confirmed they've told their captains not to wear the armbands.
"We can't put our players in a position where they could face sporting sanctions, including bookings," the joint statement reads.
"We're very frustrated by the Fifa decision which we believe is unprecedented. We wrote to Fifa in September informing them of our wish to wear the OneLove armband to actively support inclusion in football, and had no response.
"Our players and coaches are disappointed."
