Hannibal Mejbri escapes punishment after slamming ball into Australian player's face

Hannibal Mejbri is known for being something of a hothead for his displays in the Manchester United Academy so far.

His yellow card against Liverpool at Anfield can never be forgotten but it looks like the teenager cannot be tamed.

During Tunisia's group stage clash with Australia in the World Cup, Mejbri was named on the bench.

When striker Mitchell Duke was on the ground holding his back after an alleged foul near the touchline, Mejbri simply got off the bench and slammed the ball into his face.

The exact reason behind his actions is unknown but Duke's teammates hounded the referee demanding punishment.

Fortunately for Mejbri, he escaped without a booking and then shared a handshake with Duke after apologising.
