David Ornstein gives key update on Rashford's contract talks with United

Marcus Rashford is likely to sign a new contract with Man United, claims David Ornstein.

The Athletic’s senior correspondent spoke about his contract situation, saying on the Vibe with Five podcast: “I’d be surprised if he played for another club in the Premier League.

“You never know but it would shock me given he’s Man United through and through, and my suspicion is that he will end up signing a new contract there.”

Rashford’s current deal is set to expire next summer, but United are likely to activate a one-year extension on his contract.

The 25-year-old is highly likely to sign a new deal with the Red Devils next year after having scored 8 goals in all competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side this season.
