Last September, Angel di Maria called Louis van Gaal the 'worst coach' he's ever played under during one of his customary rants against Manchester United.
And now, during a press conference for the World Cup, Van Gaal was asked about Angel's remark.
The Netherlands boss, who was seated next to Memphis Depay - another player who failed to shine at Old Trafford - said: "Di Maria calling me the worst manager he has ever had?
"He's one of the few players with this opinion.
"I'm really sorry about this and I find it sad he said this.
"Memphis had to deal with it too at Manchester, and now we kiss each other on the mouth!"
Depay cracked a grin at Van Gaal's hilarious comment but looked a tad embarrassed by the kissing story.
The 28-year-old currently plays for Barcelona and has one goal to his name in the World Cup so far.
