Recalling what Ole said about one Bruno quality as it becomes more & more pronounced

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knew exactly what Bruno Fernandes brings to the table, having signed the midfielder back in 2020.

When he first arrived, the former Manchester United manager said the following about Bruno's abilities: "Well, overall, he is a very, very good footballer and his brain is obviously quicker than many others.

"He has got loads of attributes that we are going to get used to. We will get used to him and he will get used to us.

"His passing range, his deliveries, his movements, I am just pleased to see him here enjoying himself.

"Yeah, he trains and he trains and he trains, so his fitness levels and enthusiasm is brilliant."

To further prove Ole's point, we have a couple of examples from recent games.

Eriksen's goal against Fulham

Bruno is smart enough to find small pockets of space which potentially leads to scoring opportunities.

For Christian Eriksen's goal against Fulham, Bruno spots Marcus Rashford dragging the defender inwards and makes himself available in that spot.

Anthony Martial then spots Bruno and passes the ball to him. The midfielder goes for the striker but due to a slight deflection, Eriksen rushes to the spot and slots it in.

Bruno's goal vs Man City

Bruno scored the first goal against Man City via a sublime pass from Casemiro.

Casemiro's pass was originally intended for Rashford but Bruno did well to dart into the open space and get into a good scoring position.

And then it was only a matter of time before the ball fell to Bruno and he slotted it in with ease.

Of course, there was controversy later with several claiming Rashford was offside and that his goal should not have stood. Thankfully for United, VAR did not cancel the goal.
