Aaron Wan-Bissaka reflects on Man United squad morale under Erik ten Hag

"For me, first it’s the team, you put the team first, the team performance. But individually I was happy with the way I played," said Aaron Wan-Bissaka while discussing his return to the Manchester United first-team set-up.

"That always helps with the team around you. We’re all really together and helping each other on the pitch.

"Definitely [it was pleasing to hear the crowd cheer]. It also pushes your confidence up to continue doing what you do best.

"Obviously, that pleased the fans and led to a chance in the game, so it was a good moment."

Wan-Bissaka appears to have regained his spot in Diogo Dalot's absence, performing well in the 2-1 win over Manchester City.

Highlighting the importance of continuing the form, the right-back added: "We know with all of the games coming up that none of them will be easy, but we all go into every game with the mentality to win.

"I think we need to take every game, game by game with the aim of just winning."
