Manchester United have asked the representatives of Malo Gusto not to rush into a decision on his future, according to RMC Sport.
The Lyon full-back has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently as Chelsea continue their keep spending under new ownership.
The Red Devils are also interested in the 19-year-old defender who could leave the Ligue 1 side before the transfer window shuts down next week.
Gusto, who currently represents France at the Under-21 level, has featured in 15 games for Lyon so far this season. Transfermarkt value him at €15 million.
