A brief summary of the first half

United started very strongly as usual and was duly rewarded. Rashford picked a pass from his own half to beat all of Forest's players including their goalkeeper. 

However, the Reds retreated afterwards allowing their hosts to create some good scoring chances and even found the target. But Weghorst ensured that United went into the half with a two-goal with his first strike for the club.
