Alejandro Garnacho spotted on crutches amid fears of season-ending injury

Initially, after Alejandro Garnacho picked up an injury in the Southampton game last week, it was reported that the issue was not very serious.

Since then, however, it has been claimed that the problem is worse than expected. There's no clear timetable for his recovery, with Erik ten Hag saying it will be 'weeks' before we'll see Garnacho back on the pitch.

Now, the Man United forward has been spotted leaving a family dinner on crutches on Friday afternoon.

The Sun claims that Garnacho could be out for the season - which would be a really sad end to the breakthrough campaign for the 18-year-old.

This season, Garnacho has made 29 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing four assists.

Could tell it was a bad injury. The kid was in pain for a good few minutes. Gutted for him and us fans but he must be allowed time to recover so pre season is probably the realistic return. Glazers out.
