Antonio Conte is very much looking to be on his way out of Tottenham.
After a 3-3 draw against Southampton, he effectively threw his players under the bus - while also seemingly accusing Spurs owner Daniel Levy of failing to build a winning mentality.
"They're used to it here. Don't play for something important," he said.
"They don't want to play under pressure. They don't want to play under stress. Tottenham's story is this. 20 years there is the owner & they never won something. Why?
"Until now I tried to hide the situation. We can fight for what in this period, with this attitude, this commitment? For what? 7th? 8th place?
"If they want to continue in this way, they can change the manager, a lot of managers, but the situation cannot change. Believe me."
It looks like Man United dodged a bullet there by not inviting Conte to the club when they had a chance to do so at the end of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tenure.
Now, it's safe to say that United fans are happy with how it worked out.
TridgeTV: "Gee... I wonder why United didn't hire Conte guys. I can't work it out."
JerryBorrelia: "All those #mufc pundits clamouring for Conte to United. 😂"
stradeypark: "Can't believe there were slags who support United that wanted Conte as manager. It still freaks my nut out to this day."
AnnemarieDray: "Conte absolutely annihilating Spurs post-match and basically saying with a shrug ‘this is just who they are’ is astounding content. Thankful for ten Hag and giving myself a slap on the wrist for thinking he could take over Manchester United."
CcJcraig89: "The stick United were getting for not going running to Conte while Ole was struggling. United are owed a few apologies. As is Gary Neville."
Patron_MUFC: "Thank god Manchester United didn’t hire Antonio Conte. The type of manager to set a club back 5 years once he’s gone."
