'Have to see how that progresses': Ten Hag reveals another injury doubt for Fulham clash

Erik ten Hag has revealed that Scott McTominay is doubtful to feature in the FA Cup quarter-final clash against Fulham due to an injury.

The gaffer said: “As you said, we just returned. We have to see, to see the doc. I have an idea but I have to see the progress with some players.

“About the last game, that is why I didn’t bring him in, Scott McTominay, [as] he had some complaints. We have to see how that will progress in the coming hours and days.”

With Casemiro also suspended for the game, Ten Hag could be left with limited midfield options unless McTominay is able to make himself available for the Fulham game.

The Scotsman is a natural alternative to the Brazilian defensive midfielder and it remains to be seen who Ten Hag chooses to play against Fulham in place of him.

As much as i don't wish anybody injury but i think its a good thing for us because it will keep mactominny out of that game... If he is fit he would have taken place of Casa and i don't think he is the right person... Let Fred and Sabitzer play there 6 and 8 or martinez play 6.

Why do you think that the Manager picks him for Casemiro's position? Please let Eric Ten Hag do his job; he's best placed to make the right call. All respect to Eric Ten Hag.

Besides, we have Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lendelof. Both are quite capable of playing that role.
