Man United lost Alejandro Garnacho to a nasty injury during their 0-0 draw against Southampton earlier this month.
The winger was forced to miss the international games with Argentina and has recently been seen walking around in a protective boot.
Speaking about when Garnacho can be expected to return to action, Sky Sports’ injury expert Ben Dinnery told GiveMeSport: “We would fully expect him to be back in first-team contention.
“And of course, the way United are going, on several fronts still and particularly in those cup competitions, there's still a lot to play for.
“So there's a carrot dangling there for him to be involved in those games as well. I'm sure he'll be working extremely hard and focused on that recovery to get back and in contention for those games should they come about.”
This means Garnacho should be back in action before the season ends and be able to help United in their end-of-season stretch.
