Man United are going to put Marcus Rashford in the bracket of their highest earners with a new contract, claims Sky Sports.
The Red Devils are still in early discussions with the Englishman, with their being ‘transparency, respect and courtesy’ in the talks.
United believe that their financial package along with Rashford’s key role in Erik ten Hag’s squad will convince him to sign a new long-term deal.
Rashford’s personal preference is to stay at Old Trafford and win major trophies with his childhood club.
He recently rubbished rumors about wanting £500,000-a-week wages for his new deal. While he's unlikely to get that, Marcus will still get a lucrative new salary.
The forward has been in splendid form this season, having scored 27 goals in his most prolific campaign yet.
