Without signing a top class striker, do you expect Martial to start scoring next season or just depend on Rashford to score alone like this season. We may need to strengthen the midfield but to sign a top class & a complete striker is equally important, if not more.

you need to sort problems from the root. The chances we create and statpad are half chances. Real midfields hold the ball, dominate and create real chances. Even if you have halaand up front, he won't score half of what he scores in City. How many touches do you think we had in second half against spurs or Brighton?

We should have wrapped up the game in first half with the chances created. Have you seen how Haaland, Son or Kane scored for their team with half chance, not to mention one on one. I think you still trust our striker Martial will regain his form in next season. And haven't you watched how Benzema scored half chance times & again. Our legend Nistelrooy only given one half chance in a game those days & he won us the game.

but we need good striker to do the finishing right, we must win to score  more goals.

those teams like city, do you know how many chances they create? I think you should check the stats. if we create as many chances as Arsenal or city, we will get more goals. Halaand misses alot of chances but the chances keep coming and coming. How many clear chances did we have in first half. Please don't count those of Anthony and Rashford. Look at the loads of chances Arsenal and City creates. I'm not talking about stats because even a weak shot inside the box counts as chances on paper.

That Rashford chance, it was in a very tight angle. it takes players like Ronaldo, Suarez or agureo to score that type. Even if we take the chances in the first half and score two, what will happen when our midfield clospses in second half like against Sevilla and Spurs. Small teams create little chances and expect to finish all. Big teams keep the chances coming and overwhelm the opposition that they will only remember defending and not attacking.  We need the right midfielders.

there is no finishing to what didn't start. If we create enough chances, some will roll in. Will Rashford miss tap ins? Will Martial miss one on keeper from wide angle? Even most of the goals Rashford had, he had to create them by himself.

Ok, whatever it's. I strongly disagree midfield is our weakest link when we have  Casemiro. Our setback against Sevilla was our two own goals especially Malacia & we had dominated almost the whole game till the end. Our major problem is forwardline once Rashford stopped scoring this is the problem as the rest are not reliable. And if you look at our scoring records in PL table, we are the 2nd worst in top 9, only slightly better than Villa. can it be our midfield problem.

IMO, our problem is the midfield. We have casemiro who is a destroyer but not so comfortable on the ball. it's an honest assessment. I'm not saying he's not good but he's good in what he does. We don't have kroos and/or Modric. We have Bruno that can give the ball to opposition 10 times within 5 mins. we have Eriksen that is slow. Fred and McTominay, nothing to say about them. When it comes to Wingers, if Rashford doesn't receive final pass, he's useless. Doesn't know when to pass, I think he forgets he can pass the ball. On the other side, it's just some 100m guy playing futsal. 

Overall, we have unintelligent players.

I don't know why everyone thinks goal scoring is our main problem. Our main problem is competing in the midfield. We lost almost all the midfield battle this season. Especially second halfs. We can't score when the opponent has the ball even if we double kane with halaand up front, we need to get a hold of the ball to score. Most of the times we have the ball, we have scored but we only have little times to hold the ball.

Absolutely.  Give preference to EtH's choice. He is the coach who knows how he will use the player. No Chelsea solution here. 
Even if it is Kane who people claim is old it doesn't matter. After all RVP was signed at about same age and he delivered. SAF knew what he wanted. Let EtH choose his striker. Period.

this is exactly my fear, Clubs are already going for their desired players. See Liverpool making haste. we just want to sit back and watch and then go for what's left in the market.  if the Glazzers are selling, they should just announce the winner of the bid. if they won't, they should start bidding for players because we need at least 5-7 players.

you understand,  Manchester United likes to dance 💃 around players. Liverpool is losing a lot of players this summer, so they are going all in. That was how we danced around Gakpo. EPL is highly competitive, teams wants to bring in target of other teams.

United should start the process now. Any striker of Ten Hag's choice should be given priority and commence negotiations before other teams sign them. The club is fond of making announcements in the past, whereas our rivals go about it in secret fashion. More actions less talk.

I disagree. Buy Kane and 1 of the other players mentioned. Kane would take almost all the pressure off the other signing and give them a couple years to get going in the prem which is a difficult league to adapt to. If you don't buy Kane and just go for one of the others they will be expected to get 20+ goals a season and their confidence could be killed as a result

Lol this is Haaland first season in Epl right? Sanchez was king of Arsenal with experience right? Haaland is a generational talent... Mbappe would be the same. those guys are on another level. I'm not saying there aren't examples of guys coming to England and being great right away, but it's usually the exception, not the rule. Arsenal got hot, but I don't see that team being that dangerous. They still have very little lesdership or experience. That's why they are falling apart hear at the end. Whoever is chosen one thing is certain we really need a striker.

Harry kane name should taken out of this shortlist..for me Osimhen and Rasmus Hojlund total= £180m then we have tackled striker problems for the next 10 seasons
