Man United need just one point in 2 games for top-4 finish as Liverpool drop points vs Aston Villa

Man United have not only made a huge step towards a Premier League top-four finish - they've also seen their rivals slip today.

At the same time as the Red Devils defeated Bournemouth, Liverpool struggled against Aston Villa.

They went 1-0 down in the first half thanks to Jacob Ramsey's goal. The result did not change until the 89th minute when Roberto Firmino found a late equaliser.

The draw means Liverpool are not yet mathematically out of the race - but Man United will only need to get one point to make sure that they can't be beaten to a place in the top four.

Next week, Erik ten Hag's team faces Chelsea and Fulham in the final two games of the season.
