'I couldn't do it without you': Rashford sends message to fans, teammates for double awards

Marcus Rashford has been declared the Players' Player of the Year as well as the Manchester United Player of the Year - an incredible honour for any footballer.

The forward scored 30 goals across competitions in 2022/23, ending the season on a high despite initial struggles.

Reacting to the awards, Rashford tweeted: "What an incredible honour to win both the Sir Matt Busby and Player’s ‘Player Of The Year’ awards tonight.

"To have the support of both the fans and my teammates means the world - I couldn’t do it without you all.

"Thanks to the manager & all the staff for their phenomenal help."

Rashford is up for a contract extension in the coming days, as his current deal expires next summer.
