Ten Hag reveals if Antony will be available to face Man City in FA Cup final

"Unlikely," said Erik ten Hag when asked if 

 is fit enough to play Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday. 

"Antony still [has] a chance but a really small chance." 

In what was his final press conference of the season, the 

 boss added: "He didn’t make progress, so he still has a chance but unlikely he is available." 

Antony injured his ankle during our win over Chelsea towards the end of the Premier League season. He's not returned to training yet, meaning he will not be back on the field in 2022/23.

 has aggravated his ankle injury from 2022 which brought an end to his season at the time. 

He was out for over two months during his final season at Ajax and now that old injury seems to have resurfaced. 

Antony fell to the ground in agonising pain and had to be stretchered off during our 4-1 win over Chelsea. 

As a result, there are now concerns that his ankle injury is more serious than expected. 

It's now highly likely that Antony will miss the FA Cup final against Manchester City on June 3.

Don’t think it would be worth paying a fee the recall him from loan for just one game I think the loan doesn’t expire till after all competitions wrapped up it would only cost them to bring him back
