Will Man United sign any player this month after Anthony Martial surgery?
25
Man United have no intention to add a striker this month despite Anthony Martial undergoing groin surgery that is expected to keep him out for 10 weeks.
According to The Athletic, the club are not projecting any major signings and even a loan arrival has been ruled out at this stage.
Martial who has been out since December 17 is not a key part of Erik ten Hag's plan. The 28-year-old has started just five Premier League games, scoring only once in another underwhelming season.
In the summer, United will again look at centre-forward reinforcements. By that time, Martial's contract should have expired, with the club using the savings from his £240,000-a-week salary.
