Transfer status of every Man United player ahead of 2024 summer window: complete guide
The transfer window for Premier League clubs is set to start in July. Man United are expected to be quite busy changing their squad.
Here we look at what the current members of the Red Devils squad could expect and who could possibly depart before the start of the 2024/25 season.
Goalkeepers
Despite a shaky start, Onana proved his value by producing a number of quality performances in 2024. The club is going to trust in him to remain the no.1 and prove his worth.
Bayindir got to make just one appearance in his debut season. He is seeking interest from other clubs and could look to leave for regular game time.
Heaton's contract expires at the end of June. The Red Devils are unlikely to hand a new deal to a no.3 goalkeeper.
Defenders
Evans' contract is also going to expire at the end of June. Man United have not held talks over a new one and are poised to let him leave.
Kambwala produced a series of bright performances as an emergency centre-back option. He's likely to be given more game time and be kept as a back-up.
Shaw only made 15 appearances last season due to injury problems. But his quality and reassurance pressure when he's fit means Shaw is not going to be offloaded anytime soon.
Lindelof has dropped down the centre-back pecking order at Old Trafford. He's going to go down even further with the signing of new defenders and could be sold for a decent offer.
Maguire is unlikely to be first-choice if a new centre-back is signed. Man United could sell him for the right price in the summer, especially if the defender agrees to leave.
Wan-Bissaka is under threat of being sold after being really inconsistent last season. Man United could look to sign an upgrade if able to offload him.
Dalot has become indispensable at Old Trafford after winning the Man United Players' Player of the Year award and producing excellent performances last season.
Malacia missed the ENTIRETY of the 2023/24 season due to injury. With the Red Devils reportedly looking to sign a new left-back, he could be offloaded.
Martinez is undroppable at Man United and showed why with an immense performance in the FA Cup final against Man City.
Midfielders
There is no way Man United even consider selling Mainoo after the kind of season he just had.
Mount also had a difficult debut campaign at Man United. But the club are aware it was mostly because of injuries and will give him more time to impress.
McTominay had a pretty inconsistent campaign despite scoring 9 goals. He could be sold if a prominent offer comes in and allows the club to sign a quality midfielder.
Fernandes is definitely an untouchable at Man United. Unless he personally pushes for it, the club won't even consider bids for him.
Casemiro had a tough second season at Man United and looks well past his best. He's likely to be sold amid links to Saudi Arabia.
Eriksen was quite underwhelming for the majority of the campaign. He could push to leave for regular game time elsewhere and is unlikely to be stopped.
Amrabat is set to return to Fiorentina after his loan spell ended. Man United have not shown any interest in bringing him back.
Forwards
Amad proved he can be an important part of Man United's future with his brilliant performances in the final bits of the 23/24 season. He's likely to start more matches next season to liven up the frontline.
Hojlund scored a decent 15 goals in his debut Man United season and is definitely an untouchable in terms of a transfer.
The winner of Man United's Young Player of the Year award last season is likely to get the Mainoo treatment. He should be promoted to the senior team and given more minutes to prove his value.
Rashford's future at Man United is still not fully clear. He might actually be sold if a major offer comes in and if the forward himself hints at his desire to go somewhere else.
Garnacho has transformed himself into a regular starter for Man United and his sale won't be considered at all.
Man United are reportedly looking for ways to sell Antony but could find it difficult to find a decent buyer for him.
