“If the result [vs Manchester City] is negative, expectations will drop; if we win they will think that the new Alex Ferguson has arrived," Ruben Amorim said laughing.
"What interests me is to win, a good farewell in Alvalade, win in Braga and start a new adventure in Manchester,” Amorim adds.
Amorim has a long way to go before he can crack jokes on Fergie. The legendary manager won 38 trophies at the club and Man United fans have seen enough not to compare any manager to him with the club still battling in the trenches.
Man United will face Man City on December 15. That's over a month from now. Before then, Amorim must've had a few games to show what he's all about as Man United's gaffer.
