Real Madrid reportedly considering Fulham loanee Zambo Anguissa as cut-price midfield option this summer

As the coronavirus pandemic is expected to reduce the financial power of all European clubs, including Real Madrid, the Whites have identified Fulham holding midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa as a cut-price midfield transfer option for the summer, Mundo Deportivo reports.

It's worth mentioning that the Catalan publication is not a quite reliable one in regard to Madrid.

Zambo Anguissa spends the season on loan at Villarreal. The 24-year-old has featured in 25 La Liga outings for the Yellow Submarine this season before the COVID-19 crisis put all action on hold in early March.

The Cameroon international is tied with Fulham until 2023. As per Mundo's report, he has a release clause of £22m at Craven Cottage.

As for Zinedine Zidane's priority targets for the summer, the Frenchman reportedly keeping close tabs on N'Golo Kante, Eduardo Camavinga and Boubakary Soumare as he's eager to sign an alternative for Casemiro this summer (Diario AS).
