Ex-Madridista Jese becomes Ligue 1 champion despite making just one-minute appearance

Hilarious news from France!

Real Madrid academy graduate and a two-time Champions League winner Jese Rodriguez becomes Ligue 1 winner. The 27-year-old spent just one minute on the pitch for Paris Saint-Germain this season.

What makes the story even more special is the fact that Jese has been on loan at Sporting Lisbon this term. The forward was loaned out from PSG on September 2 after having made one episodic appearance for the Parisians.

As a reminder, the French Football Association was forced to end the season prematurely after their prime minister's statements in which he 'banned' football competitions until September.

As for Jese, this is already the Spaniard's 12th major trophy in his career. The winger won seven pieces of silverware with Los Blancos, having made less than 100 appearances for the Whites.

Do you know a luckier player than this guy? 😂
