Raul Gonzalez reportedly to take charge of Real Madrid U19 for 9 days

Real Madrid Castilla's head coach Raul Gonzalez is set to take charge of Juvenil A (Real Madrid's U19 side) in August, as per Marca.

The 42-year will be replacing former Juvenil A manager Dani Poyatos who will soon leave the club for Panathinaikos.

From August 16 to August 25, the U19 team will be taking part in the UEFA Youth League knockouts, so there's a very important challenge ahead for Raul.

Real Madrid U19 will take on Juventus' youth side in the competition's last 16. If the Whites proceed to the quarterfinals, they will face the winner of the clash between Rennes and Inter Milan.

The U19 team's brightest star is perhaps Miguel Gutierrez who plays at left-back. The 18-year-old has recently had his 'debut' training session with the first team and he's expected to be promoted to Castilla next term.

As for Raul Gonzalez, the former Madrid great had a decent season with Castilla, leading them to 10 wins and 10 draws in 28 games. The 'B' side finished 8th in their Segunda Division B group.
