What does future hold for Reinier? Brief 5-point explainer
9
- Although Reinier made just 3 appearances for Real Madrid Castilla last season, the Brazilian is expected to spend the next campaign elsewhere.
- Real Valladolid, Real Sociedad, Real Zaragoza, Espanyol and Bayer Leverkusen are all said to be interested in loaning the 18-year-old.
- Real Madrid are completely in favour of such a move, it is said.
- As things stand, Valladolid seem to be the most preferable destination for Reinier: unlike at Real Sociedad or at Leverkusen, there is less competition in central midfield and the team are unlikely to be relegated.
- Besides, Ronaldo Nazario's (he's currently the president of Real Valladolid) warm relationship with Real Madrid could provide a boost to Valladolid's hopes of landing the young star.
