Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre said in an interview: "We want to bring Reinier on loan, but the negotiation is not yet over.
"He is a young player who can play as a No.9, on the wing and midfield, but also a false striker.
"From what I’ve seen, he’s very good on offence, and a very, very good finisher."
Jesus Reinier joined Real Madrid from Flamengo only in January and at 18, the attacking midfielder needs to play regularly to develop his skills further.
Furthermore, gaining experience at such a young age could potentially fast-track his breakthrough in Zinedine Zidane's squad.
Lately, reports about the youngster joining Dortmund on loan have intensified and now that Favre has confirmed that talks are ongoing, it could only be a matter of time before things are finalized.
