"You're making me laugh, in a good way though," Zinedine Zidane told the reporters in Tuesday's press conference, slightly chuckling.
The coach was asked about the latest lack of rotations and he replied: "If I make rotations then you ask why I’m making them. If I don’t then you ask me why I’m not.
"The team is playing well and the players are prepared. Given that there are so many matches, they’ll all have to be ready for when it’s their turn to play.
The Frenchman insisted every player is in his plans: "But, I’m counting on all my players. With some more than others, but I’m counting on them all."
So far, Zidane has been using the same 13 players in the last 4 games: almost unchanged starting XI and 2 or 3 substitutes.
Fringe players like Militao, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola or Isco haven't been used at all for some weeks already.
