"Real Madrid was a very special moment in my life," Danilo told Marca.
"The moment I signed, I could have gone to any club in the world. I was performing well at the time and all the elite teams were looking for a right-back.
"I had to choose, but when they told me about Real Madrid it was a no brainer. It is a special team, different from others. I learned to play with the highest pressure for results and performances there."

The Brazilian won La Liga, 2 Champions Leagues, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup with Real Madrid between 2015 and 2017.
