Enrique still refuses to call up any Real Madrid players after naming 11 backup players due to COVID

Spain's squad for Euro 2020 is badly hit with COVID-19 with half of the team forced to train separately after Sergio Busquets and Diego Llorente contracted the virus.

Luis Enrique has now called up 11 players to train with a separate set of 17 players initially invited.

Interestingly, Spain's head coach still refuses to call up any Real Madrid player.

Here are the 11 provisional players named by Enrique:

Alvaro Fernandez, Oscar Mingueza, Marc Cucurella, Bryan Gil, Juan Miranda, Gonzalo Villar, Pozo, Brahim, Zubimendi, Yeremy Pino and Javi Puado.

Madrid players such Marco Asensio, Alvaro Odriozola and Iso have again been ignored by Enrique.

Enrique made headlines when he decided against inviting Spain's captain Sergio Ramos, who's fit, to Euro 2020.
