Fans name Madrid player 'robbed' of Ballon d'Or nomination: 'Overlooked as always'

Two Real Madrid players have made the 30-man shortlist for football's most prestigious individual award, Ballon d'Or.

These are Karim Benzema and Luka Modric.

But fans can't understand why Toni Kroos did not make the cut, especially when the likes of Simon Kjaer, Pedri and Nicolo Barella did.
