Isco, Rodrygo & more: 6 players Ancelotti has used the least so far this season

Carlo Ancelotti has developed a few favorites within the Real Madrid squad, with the likes of Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema and Eder Militao featuring in every game so far.

But because of the size of Los Blancos’ squad, the Italian manager hasn’t been able to give every player enough playing time.

Antonio Blanco remains the player least used by Ancelotti, with the midfielder only making 1 appearance despite being in the matchday squad 9 times so far this season.

Isco hasn’t gotten much game-time either, only playing 166 minutes in 6 appearances so far for Los Blancos.

Marco Asensio has 3 goals so far this season, but he’s only played 221 minutes of football in 7 appearances.

Rodrygo (295 minutes) and young left-back Miguel Gutierrez (327 minutes) have also been underutilized so far this season.

Ancelotti’s 6 least-used players:

Antonio Blanco – 1 appearance – 30’ played

Isco – 6 appearances – 166’played

Marco Asensio – 7 appearances – 221’ played

Rodrygo – 10 appearances – 295’ played
