Courtois: 'We can't criticize Hazard like he's a random player'

"Eden Hazard has been ill and couldn't train this week. His dream has always been Real Madrid. I see him happy, he wants to help the team. I'm sure he will recover his level," Thibaut Courtois said during the Sheriff Tiraspol presser.

"We cannot forget the quality Hazard has, nowadays they forget very quickly the player he is. We can't criticise him thinking he's just a random player."

Meanwhile, Hazard has missed Real Madrid's previous game and is out for Sheriff as well.

This term so far, the 30-year-old has played 415 minutes across 11 games for Real Madrid, recording an assist. He's started five games and never completed full 90 minutes.
