Benzema overtakes Henry as top French goalscorer in club football

Karim Benzema found the net in the first half against Sevilla.

This is the 361st goal of his professional career on club level and makes him the French goalscorer in club football.

This strike puts him ahead of Thierry Henry, who scored 360 goals during his playing career.

What an achievement for the Madrid man.

Note that goals scored on international level are not counted. Henry netted 51 times for France while Karim is currently on 36 strikes.
