Militao nominated for La Liga Player of the Month award, Benzema snubbed again

Eder Militao is the only Real Madrid player nominated for La Liga’s Player of the Month award for December.

The Brazilian centre-back featured in all 5 of Madrid’s league games and helped them win 4 of them.

Not just that, but Militao’s impressive performances helped Los Blancos keep 4 clean sheets in those games – only conceding once.

The centre-back faces competition from the likes of Sevilla winger Lucas Ocampos, Granada striker Jorge Molina and Real Betis midfielder Juanmi.

Karim Benzema, however, has been ignored again even after scoring 4 goals in the 5 league matches in December.
